No, this works very well and helps make everybody happy – as it means that there are two lovely indoor spaces, each with a slightly different vibe.
For those wanting to go wild on the dancefloor, the Kent Barn is an amazing space, while the smaller Long Barn – which houses the bar and wood burning stove – offers a slightly more relaxed atmosphere, perfect for guests to take a break, sit and talk in a cozy atmosphere. The Long Barn offers somewhere for arriving guests to meet and to say their goodbyes at the end of the night and is also great for the little ones.
In any case, we offer table service within the Kent Barn so guests don’t need to move!
Yes, the Showman’s Wagon is perfect – It sits within the barnyard and can be reserved for the Bride and Groom only. Additional footwear or clothing can be stored in the Showmans wagon, as well as anything valuable.

"A spellbinding Kent venue full of magic and mystique."
'Thanks to Tiggi, Charlotte and the team for making to day run so smoothly. I felt like I was in such safe hands throughout the day and allowed me to relax and enjoy the day. Preston court was a fairytale venue from the ceremony on the island to the dinner in the barn, everything looked so beautiful. And a big shout out to the weather fairies that help that storm out until the last guests had got home.''
I don’t think there is much about this wedding that I don’t love and I just know you guys are going to fall head over heels too... Keeping to a clean ivory colour palette there were pretty flowers, bridesmaids in the loveliest dresses and crafty touches galore.
Listed by Artcadia as one of their "TOP 5 UK WEDDING VENUES", June 10, 2013.
Listed as one of the world's 10 best barn venues, according to Bridal Musings. A 17th century Kentish barn, near Canterbury, England, Preston Court is perhaps one of the prettiest and most iconic barn venues in the UK. Whimsical, beautiful and utterly unique, the traditional barn is home to some stunning fairground organs, with the choice of a vintage carousel outside to match. This epic venue can hold up to 120 for dinner, with a variety of catering options and table set-ups. The wider estate is home to a pretty stone church, and an atmospheric island garden for outdoor weddings. If you’re looking for a barn venue in England with wow factor, this is probably, The One.
Beautiful Preston Court Wedding... In August I had the privilege to 2nd shoot with the lovely Eliza Claire, Michelle & Peter’s beautiful wedding. Preston Court is amazing full of quirks and treasure troves such as a fairground carousel, old steam engines and amazing old organs in the huge barn.

The bridesmaids wore bright red 50′s prom dresses with huge blue petticoats underneath, beautiful bride Hayley wore a vintage dress, 20′s art deco styled shoes, bright red lippy and a beautiful vintage head piece in her hair.
