Fairground & Steam
When you first arrive at Preston Court Farm you can’t fail to spot the incredible array of steam trains and traction engines dotted around the place. These amazing pieces of engineering are part of The Steam Museum, started by Anna’s father Michael, around 30 years ago.
The ‘Vanguard’ is a particularly impressive Showman’s Engine, gloriously adorned in polished brass and rich red paintwork. If you visit during the winter months you will be able to see The Vanguard in The Kentish Barn, which becomes an ‘Engine Shed’ over winter.
